Book Launch: Poverty in the Midst of Affluence
Mr Leo F. Goodstadt wrote a book on government mismanagement by tracing how officials have created a ‘new poverty’ in Hong Kong and arguing that their misguided policies are both a legacy of the colonial era and a deliberate choice by modern governments, and not the result of economic crises. The book launch event was held on 29 October 2013 by Rose and Leo F. Goodstadt and the Hong Kong University Press.
